Marketing and Communications Officer

25 hours per week (circa £36k FTE) £22,498.41 pro rata
This role is fixed hours of 9am - 2pm Monday to Friday with the need to be flexible for occasional planned events outside these hours.

We’re hiring a Marketing & Communications Officer to help lead multi-channel campaigns for Diagrama’s adoption, fostering and care services.

This is a part-time remote role for a Marketing and Communications Officer. This role requires an experienced digital marketer who can help execute marketing strategies, manage social media channels, create content for various platforms, and coordinate external communications. The Marketing and Communications Officer will also be responsible for helping organise events, creating marketing materials, and tracking the performance of marketing campaigns.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
Experience/Understanding of the nonprofit sector
Social media management and content creation skills.

Must be highly proficient with the following:
Mailchimp
Content Management Systems - Processwire/Wordpress
Facebook/Instagram
Meta Ads/Adwords/Analytics
Canva/Other design software with good eye for design
SurveyMonkey

Understanding of creating briefs for designers, photographers etc and how to produce engaging content.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills - eye for detail and understanding of safeguarding
Multi-client & stakeholder communication skills
Proficiency in reporting, tracking and analysing marketing performance
Ability to work independently and remotely

A great deal of this role is based around supporting our Care Services including our not for profit Fostering Service and Voluntary Adoption Agency. This role therefore involves a large amount of time spent working with digital software. From the preparation of 5 quarterly newsletters and managing the associated mailing lists to creating daily social media posts for our channels, a great deal of experience and patience in our platforms of choice is essential in this role. Foster Carers

Home-based role, £415 per child per week expenses payment, plus paid respite cover

Diagrama Fostering is urgently seeking new foster carers. There are around 70,000 children in care in the UK at the moment and we need to find new carers to help meet current demand for placements.
