Diagrama Foundation has been awarded more than £100,000 to fund a new arts project for adults with learning disabilities and the elderly.Diagrama Foundation will be the lead partner in the multi-national GALA (Gentle Art, Living Art) project which aims to empower vulnerable people.Funding of 112,900 euro has been awarded by the Erasmus Plus Programme (European Lifelong Learning, Adult Education measure) to be shared with partners from Spain, Belgium, France and Romania. Diagrama Foundation is inviting vocational education and training providers, employers, third sector professionals and young people to attend the final conference of a two-year Erasmus+ funded PROVYP project aimed at tackling youth unemployment at national and European levels.The project is made up of a consortium of 10 organisations from 8 EU countries who have exchanged best practice and created common recommendations for better career guidance as well as developing a high quality e-learning tool in different EU languages. Diagrama Foundation has visited Twydall Primary School in Kent for the second time as part of the work it is carrying out in connection with the THRIVE EU Project.The aim of the European project THRIVE is to reinforce the professional development of teachers of students up to seven years old through an online course, in order to effectively promote positive behaviours in classroom as well as future school attendance and achievement. Diagrama Foundation has completed the pilot stage training for the Get There European Project. As part of the pilot stage, the beneficiaries enhance their skills through practical activities and a theoretical mentoring approach.Diagrama Foundation is responsible for delivering the “Customer Awareness” and “Exploring Jobs Opportunities” units, which will evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the training materials. On 5 October 2016, the final conference was held for the European REVIJ project in the Siete Coronas Hotel in the city of Murcia, Spain. The REVIJ project (Reparation to the Victim in the European Juvenile Justice Systems: Comparative analysis and transfer of best practices) compares victim reparation measures in different European juvenile justice systems.
