Care Farm and Community Instructor

To provide safe and professional person centred care and support to service users to ensure they are supported and guided to develop independent skills, especially in the field of Animal Care; promote positive relationships; and aid their emotional, social, behavioral, physical and intellectual growth.

Oversee the care of Livestock, including providing routine health care, development of suitable breeding programmes and the completion of relevant documentation to ensure compliance.

The role may also include delivering activities around basic life skills, farm maintenance and gardening so experience in these areas would be beneficial, or the willingness to learn.

Responsibilities
To provide a safe and secure environment for the care and support of service users, ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures in place to meet our statutory and contractual requirements
Plan, Create and produce activities to occupy and develop service users to ensure that they gain skills and education in line with their identified needs.
Conduct service users strength-based assessments and ensure regular review of care and support plans.
Complete, maintain and supply documentation to ensure relevant information is accurately recorded- in line with company procedures, and compliance with statutory and contractual requirements.
Build and create positive relationships based on mutual trust and respect with service users to ensure that they develop and grow in line with their identified needs.
Communicate and act to promote teamwork and ensure high standards of service delivery in accordance with the best interests of the service user.
Ensure own and, when appropriate, other’s actions reduce risks to health and safety in compliance with statutory legislation and company policy.
Define structures and boundaries for service users to ensure their welfare; ensuring they understand behaviour expected.
To assist in creating opportunities, within and outside the service for the service users to learn and develop from.
Undertake any other duties as required from time to time by the Contract.

Essential
Good standard of education / Full Driving Licence / Skilled communicator / IT skills
QCF Level 3 Diploma or willing to work towards achieving this

Desirable
Previous experience within a similar environment

Support Worker – London Borough of Bromley

Potential earnings of £23,575 per annum including sleep-ins based on qualifications.

Supported Living

Our supported living service throughout Bromley supports 37 adults with a range of complex needs and learning disabilities.

Situated in various properties across the borough, our dedicated and skilled team provides professional and personalised care of the highest standard, where the needs of each individual lie at the heart of everything we do.

Cabrini House

Cabrini House is a home for 23 adults with a range of complex needs and learning disabilities.

Situated in a private cul-de-sac in Orpington, our dedicated and skilled team at Cabrini House provides professional and personalised care of the highest standard, where the needs of each individual lie at the heart of everything we do.

You will provide essential care and support to all our service users, in a role which is pivotal to helping our service users become as independent as possible.

You will be a consistent and caring role model who is professional and non judgmental, encouraging individual independence and community integration.

You will lead by example to help service users fully participate in all day-to-day activities - including meal times and household tasks.

Diagrama Fostering is urgently seeking new foster carers. There are around 70,000 children in care in the UK at the moment and we need to find new carers to help meet current demand for placements.
